English Premier League top side Chelsea are reportedly ready to let England international Tammy Abraham go, but they will only do so if they are offered £40million for the young player. Chelsea new coach Thomas Tuchel is currently looking for a way to bring Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland which will require money, so he is hoping on using Tammy Abraham as bait.
According to reports, Haaland is top on the managers’ transfer list this summer. But the 20-year-old could cost upwards of £100million due to his super form. He has scored 53 goals in just 56 games. For Chelsea to sign him, they will need to free up space in their squad, as well as the wage budget, to get a deal over the line.
Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud to Leave Chelsea
Tammy Abraham will be allowed to leave as he is not in Thomas Tuchel plans. The 23-years-old has not enjoyed playing time since the arrival of the new coach. West Ham is known to be keen on signing the England international, who has scored 30 goals in 81 games for Chelsea so far.
Also, forward Olivier Giroud is likely to leave the club as well, and the 34-years-old Frenchman has also struggled for playing time under Tuchel.
