Certified Nollywood bad boy and talented actor, Timini reveals the most exciting part of being an actor and it is the haters for him.
In a recent interview, the actor admitted that his earlier days were scary for him because he did not have haters who would troll him, and by implication, that meant you weren’t worthy of note. However, now that he is getting some trolling for his work, it makes him happier.
Timini Reveals What Makes Him Happy
He also spoke on people assuming that he is a stereotyped actor when they have not seen half of the over 60 movies he has starred in. His exact words were,
“I don’t think there is any character my colleagues have acted that I have not played. I have acted as a bad boy, poor boy, rich boy, lover boy, ‘yahoo boy’, and others. A few years ago when I didn’t have haters or trolls, I was very worried. I knew that success without haters meant that one was not really on top.
Now that the haters are coming out and I am hearing these other opinions, it just makes me happy.”
Timini Egbuson, a younger sibling to veteran Nollywood actress, Dakore Egbuson-Akande, came into the limelight after featuring in Africa Magic’s soap opera, Tinsel, in 2010.
