Popular Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artist, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., better known as Shatta Wale, has responded to critics over the Grammy Awards.
Ghanaians have taken to social media to rubbish music artistes from the country for their inability to win the prestigious Grammy awards after artistes from the neighbors, Burna Boy and Wizkid made Africa proud.
Controversial actress, Akuapem Poloo also joined in the bashing of artistes from the West African nation. She stated that all they do is to show off their mansions and rides which doesn’t amount to get on the world’s music biggest stage.

In reaction to the several bashing online, Shatta Wale slammed his compatriots for comparing Ghanaian artistes to the Nigerians.
He then told Ghanaians who feel that they don’t sing well to relocate to Nigeria and listen to their artistes.
His tweet reads, “Enough is enough of Ghanaians insulting Ghana artistes ..if you feel we don’t sing well go and stay in nigeria so they can sing for you.
“at least that will buy you a dream house kwasiaaaaafuorrrr, especially entertainment programs“ he added.
Shatta Wale is one of the several African artistes featured in Beyonce’s ‘Lion King‘ album.
