Nollywood, The Nigerian movie industry, has been thrown into mourning as one of its own, Dan Nkoloagu, a Nollywood veteran, is dead.
The famous thespian died on Friday, January 22, after a brief illness at 83.
His son, Dan Nkoloagu Jnr, announced his death on Facebook, as he shared a photo of the actor lying dead in a hospital bed.
The deceased actor was a broadcaster before he went into an acting career in the late 1990s. He has also starred in over a score movies over the years.
Dan Nkoloagu was very popular for his Chief Priest or Native Doctor movie roles.
Another Nollywood veteran to be laid to rest
In other news, the remains of veteran filmmaker, Chico Ejiro, who died on Christmas day December 25, 2020, will be laid to rest on February 20.
The elder brother of the deceased who is also a veteran filmmaker, Zeb Ejiro, disclosed this in a statement released on Tuesday, January 5.
According to the statement, Late Chico died of complications from High Blood Pressure.
