A Nollywood actress Isaac Nsikan just shared a touching story of how she lost her dad and Brother to the menace of police brutality. The actresses lent her voice in the fight again the inhumane treatment meted out on Nigerian citizens by the Police and added that she has had a personal experience with Police brutality.
Nsikan shared on her Instagram how her father was killed by a stray bullet she by a police officer on his way back from work 22 years ago. Fast forward to twenty years later, that unfortunate even was repeated after her brother was shot just in front of their house for no reason.
She said it brought joy to her heart that the Nigerian youth were revolting against the extrajudicial killings, harassment and corruption in the force because it is high time it stopped.
She shared her touching story on the microblogging platform with the caption,
“I have personally felt the pain! It has been there for many many years.
“It has been a struggle and I have had my silent cries and have picked myself back up.
