The Minister of Aviation in Nigeria, Hadi Sirika has debunked the rumour about the date for the resumption of International flight.
In a tweet, Sirika, who is a former Member House of Representative opined that the International Flight resumption date is not October.
He said the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency, NAMA has issued a routine 90-day Notices to Airmen (NOTAM) adding that his Ministry would announce the agreed date, regardless of the ban by Europe, UAE among others.
Resumption Of International Flight
According to the tweet, the Ministry of aviation issues the Notices in liaison with the Ministry of Health, Foreign Affairs the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.
He added that the resumption date might be earlier than October.
Reacting to the tweet, many of his followers thanked him for clearing the air about the resumption date for International flights.
You will recall that the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NIDCOM, Abike Dabiri Erewa has announced the total number of Nigerians evacuated from different countries around the world.
Abike, who revealed the number of the evacuees during a press conference on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, stated that a total of 6,317 Nigerians have been evacuated due to Coronavirus outbreak.
