Affair With August Alsina, Smith Endorses
Just days ago, an interview revealed the dynamics of Will Smith, Jada Pinkett-Smith and her affair with August Alsina.
The Benediction crooner shared all about his rumored affair with Jada Pinkett Smith but his story came with an interesting twist – Will Smith actually gave his blessing to the relationship!
Since 2018, fans and media have rumoured a secret relationship between August Alsina and Jada but the claims were always written off by the two as rumors.
However, in 2019 Alsina released a song titled “Nunya” were he sang about a certain love interest and even shared a text shot from a Koren(found to be Jada’s middle name).
This further fuelled the rumors about their affair but August denied the relationship insisting that it wasn’t about the Girls Trip actress.
Jada also also avoided commenting on her rumoured affair with August Alsina.
In response to the rumours then, August said he and Jada are good and will always be ‘4life!’ but last Sunday he had more to say.
In a promotional interview for his new album ‘The Product III: stateofEMERGEncy’, he told The Breakfast Club’s Angela Yee that he and the actress were romantically involved andbtge only reason he is speaking about it is to clear his name.
“People can have whatever ideas they like. But what I’m not OK with is my character being in question”
The singer claimed that he hates drama and would not intentionally stir up trouble. The situation with Jada cost him money, friends and relationship because of the misconceptions that people had of him.
Alsina also clarified that their relationship wasn’t a secret affair, suggesting that Jada and her husband, Will Smith, had an open marriage.
“I actually sat down with Will and had a conversation … He gave me his blessing”.
“And I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life, and I truly and really, really, deeply loved and have a ton of love for her”
“I devoted myself to it. I gave my full self to it. So much so that I can die right now, and be OK knowing that I fully gave myself to somebody … Some people never get that in this lifetime.”
He finalised on the topic by saying that he understands that it may be difficult for people to understand but he had no choice than to speak his truth as it started to affect his livelihood.
According to August, walking away from that relationship changed him as it was probably the hardest thing he ever had to do but he’d rather avoid stepping on toes and die an honest man.
In the midst of all these drama, fans have been expecting Will Smith to confirm or deny the claims that he gave his blessing for Jada’s affair with August Alsina.
