This is nothing short of a miracle as a young lady called Danielle Jinadu survives COVID-19 despite having sickle cell anaemia. Danielle was also suffering from inflammatory bowel disease and arthritis. In her interview with BBC News, she revealed that because of her underlying health issues, it took a while before she was diagnosed with Coronavirus.

According to her, she infected her entire family with the virus and that exposed her mother a lot as she was in the high-risk population also. Danielle says she was able to pull through the virus and other challenges she was facing both individually and as a family by believing she is “intrinsically a survivor”.

Danielle made a long post on her Instagram account which she titled “Body”. In the post, she thanked her body for being strong through all she has been through. She also acknowledged that she has found new trust in her body which she did not have before.
Finally, she has only words of encouragement for everyone while praying that we stick together and fight this pandemic.
