According to Bulama Bukarti, peace and conflict analyst, he says that everything is not okay with Shekau’s faction of the Boko Haram sect. He described Shekau as always being bombastic and as a ruthless gangster who is known for mocking his victims. He predicted that the group might be under some kind of threat. This he said might be in relation to the series of pictures and videos the Army has been releasing recently. He said that the leader of the BH sect might be seeking negotiation.
Bulama, however, warned that it should be noted that Shekau will not give up any time soon as he keeps pledging his allegiance to the cause even in the video.
