38 new cases of Coronavirus have been confirmed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC in some states across the country.
According to the NCDC, the new cases were found in Kano with 23 cases, Gombe has 5, 3 in Kaduna, 2 in Borno, Abia has 2, with Abuja and Ekiti with 1 new case each.
With the 38 new cases, there are total of 665 confirmed cases in the country with 22 deaths, 188 recoveries while 455 cases remain active.
The new update from the NCDC shows that Sokoto, Gombe and Abia States now have their first confirmed case of Coronavirus, joining other states like Abuja, Lagos, Ekiti among others.
This is the first time Lagos State which is the epic centre of Coronavirus in Nigeria will not record a new case since the virus as imported into the country by an Italian who has now tested negative to the virus.
