The Osun state government has successfully treated and discharged ten out of Seventeen persons that have tested positive to Coronavirus, COVID-19 in the state.
The state governor, Gboyega Oyetola disclosed this in a tweet on his official Twitter handle.
The tweet reads, I am happy to inform you today that 10 of the 17 patients at our Ejigbo facility have tested negative twice for the virus in line with the National Centre for Disease Control protocol, and will soon be released to join their families and live their normal lives.
According to the governor, the ten patients tested negative to the disease twice.
Osun Discharges 10 COVID-19 Patients
Earlier, governor Oyetola had flagged off the distribution of palliatives to the people of the state, according to him, the gesture was aimed at mitigating the effects of the sit-at-home order in the state.


He said, In fulfilment of our pledge, I this afternoon, flagged off the distribution of palliatives to the people of Osun to mitigate the effects of the ongoing 14-day Sit-at-Home Order, imposed to contain the spread of the dreaded Coronavirus disease in the State.
Meanwhile, four patients of coronavirus infections were also discharged from the Gwagwalada Isolation Centre, FCT on Saturday.
