There are certain traits that point out if a person is a good leader or a bad one. The ability to able to carry people on your back is never easy. You have to serve as a role model for your subordinates
Simply being in charge doesn’t make a person a good leader. They need to have necessary leadership skills. So what makes a person an ideal leader? Here we look at 3 of the qualities of a good leader.
1. Confidence
Firstly, as a leader, you must be able to exhibit confidence in whatever do you whether it’s dealing with other your people or when it comes to making decisions for your team. You must leave no room for insecurities, your followers wouldn’t want to be lead by an insecure person. Nobody will believe in you if you don’t believe in yourself and there is no doubt you’ll have the respect of your followers.
2. A Source of inspiration
If you aren’t a individual that can be looked up to, or someone who behavior would love to be emulated by your subordinates, then you’re doing a bad job as a leader. You must inspire your team by leading by example.
3.Good Communication skills.
The third quality is possession of good communication skills. Lack of effective communication from a leader to his subordinates doesn’t guarantee desirable results in any setting.
Since the aim here would be to collectively achieve a common goal, if your followers don’t understand what you stand for, you can never be a good leader.
