A snippet of Phyna’s podcast shared with fans that featured Seun Kuti has gone viral as a sneak peek of things he said were released and contained in her trailer.
While chatting, Phyna asked Seun some religious questions, and he claimed that it was his family that started the Anglican segment of Christianity in Nigeria.
He stressed that the Kutis’ are part of the pioneers and have ‘been there, done that and moved forward’ onto other things, insisting that he hopes Africans can follow their latter decision.
When she asked him whether he still goes to church since their recent decision to move forward from this form of worship, he said that he now practices ‘Juju’.

Some even advised him to turn to the one and true God and quit the worship of idols that wouldn’t profit him and his career.
