Ike’s plot sets in motion as Mercy Eke agrees with Ike. She has agreed to end her relationship for the sake of securing Ike’s feelings as well as other terms.
Mercy Eke and Ike had a conversation about his ongoing friendship with Cee-C. Following that conversation, Mercy and Ike talk again. Ike reveals that he is also uncomfortable with her closeness to Whitemoney. She agrees to end things for his sake.
“No me and Whitemoney will not do play play again” She agrees. “Better”, he concurs.
He later asks her if there are other guys that she is interested in, and she claims there are none.
“So who is the one, Is it Prince”, he asks. “God forbid, Prince is like a brother”, she responds.
He does not give up, making more guesses, “Pere?”. “No”, she answers.
Who’s the person then” he presses. “Nobody”, she maintains.
After this, he advocates for him to be her man in the house. “Why can’t it be me”, he asks. “I have a boyfriend”, she replies.
He explains that he was just asking to be her friend. She still declines, claiming he does not know how to cook.
Their conversation comes to an end when Ike says he is willing to forgo his friendship with Cee-C for her. However, Mercy declines. She tells Ike that she has had a change of heart after speaking with Cee-C.
Mercy agrees to be Ike’s friend. She also agrees to accept Ike’s friendship with Cee-C. “Treat us as equals”, she concludes.
