Some very close sources to President Muhammadu Buhari, according to saharareporters, have disclosed that the baton might not be passed over to the President-Elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu when the Handing Over Ceremony commences.
However, names were not mentioned in the story, but the sources reportedly close to President Muhammadu Buhari, revealed that they’ve heard him contemplate leaving Nigeria in Asiwaju hands.
Citing the President’s very close Associates, the report mentioned that Buhari still hopes to address Asiwaju and the swearing-in matters, but they are not sure whether he’s afraid to place power control in his party mate’s watch.
No record of the President having issues with Asiwaju, so it is unconfirmed to say whether he would rightfully perform the swearing-in rites or take a different step on D-Day.
Asiwaju, on the other hand, is calling for reconciliation among all the political actors and parties, asking that they all work together to develop the country.
He earlier lamented over the violence during the Presidential, Gubernatorial, and National Assembly Elections, and insisted he wants Nigeria to heal from all the crises witnessed.
