At the Headies, Fast-rising Nigerian music star, Buju, now known as BNXN, made a really huge request from the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
After receiving his ‘Next Rated’ award, which comes with a brand new 2022 Bentley Bentayga, valued at over N300 million, he asked the Lagos State Governor to assist in taking care of the expenses of bringing the car down to Nigeria.
BNXN requested while giving his award speech at the Headies Award 2022, held on Sunday in the United States of America, USA.
Buju pleaded with the Governor, almost prostrating as a sign of respect, and to convince Sanwo-Olu that the cost of clearing the vehicle is too expensive for him to handle.
It is still unclear whether the Governor would honour his request to ship the reward down to Nigeria and cover the clearance fee for the promising artiste.
Ruger, BNXN’s counterpart at the award show, who was also nominated in the same Next Rated category, got a dedication statement from Buju in a clip uploaded on @juzzayofficial’s status.
