Angel Smith and Cross Okonkwo have ended their friendship in the latest episode of the BBNaija Reunion.
The duo has been in and out of their relationship since they left Big Brother’s house but had the chance to bare it all on the show aired on Tuesday.
Angel disclosed how much she has invested in their relationship in time and finances but did not get the same energy from Cross.
“I have done many things for Cross, I cooked for him when he was sick, had to drive down to the mainland because I stay in Chevron. When he needed money in Dubai, he came to me, I even booked a spa session for him because I appreciate our friendship. Cross has never done any of that for me,” Angel said.
She further stated that Cross does not have an intellectual conversation because he is a gaslighter.
In his defence, Cross revealed that he has been there for her a lot of the time, referencing a time in Dubai they were searching for her after she ghosted for days.
“Angel decides when not to talk to you for a long time. I know she goes through a lot, and I try as much as possible to be there for her,” Cross interjected.
The 30-year-old entrepreneur also denied not giving back to her like she claimed, stating that he got her some gifts in Dubai, which Angel said were just 120 Dirhams, “convert it to naira”.
Cross disclosed that their relationship ended at a concert, where he tried discussing with her before she walked out on him.
Cross said, “It’s obvious she doesn’t want anything to do with me anymore,” Angel replied, “We are not friends.”
