Tordue Salem, the Vanguard Reporter whose dead body was earlier discovered, the media had reports circulating that he was allegedly kidnapped after going missing since last month.
Unfortunately, this narrative is incorrect as a hit-and-run commuter stepped out to confess that he accidentally knocked down the reporter.
The Driver, Mr Itoro Clement, admitted to hitting Salem but noted that it wasn’t his intention to leave the deceased body without proper procedures.
According to him, he hit Salem at the Mabushi area in Abuja on October 13 and drove off.

Earlier, everyevery.ng reported that the reporter who has been nowhere to be found and had both his family and authorities searching, was pronounced dead.
In October, the journalist went missing that not even his colleagues from his office or at the beats knew his whereabouts.
It was gathered that the description of where he was found, how he died, when he passed, and other relevant information was unclear.
