A Nigerian Cleric, Idris Oladejo, has revealed why Yoruba activist, Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, has refused to disappear from prison custody in Cotonou, Benin Republic.
The cleric, also known as Imam Oladejo, revealed that Igboho refused to disappear from custody because of his wife and the Yoruba Nation.
Speaking at the Benin Court of Appeal in Cotonou, the cleric affirmed that Igboho has powers to disappear from custody but has refused to do so. Imam Oladejo added that Igboho believes in Allah and despise cheating, especially cheating the Yoruba Nation.
You will recall that the Benin Republic police arrested Igboho at Cardinal Bernardin International Airport in Cotonou while flying from the country to Germany.

Reacting, Governor Sanwoolu revealed that people are working behind the scenes concerning Igboho’s arrest and trial. He added that the case doesn’t have to be a public conversation.
Earlier, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has set up a caucus to interfere in the ordeals of the Yoruba activist. The 28-member committee is made up of prominent Southwest leaders.
