A 6-Year-Old Drowns In Well In Kano
The body of a young boy has been recovered from a well by the Kano state fires service officers.
The boy was recovered from a well in Yansango Kumbotso Local Government Area of the state.
Saidu Mohammed, the Fire Service Public Relations Officer confirmed the unfortunate incident on Wednesday.
According to Saidu, the officers receives a distress call but upon getting to the scene boy was recovered from the well dead.
His statement said,
“We received a distress call from Yansango and sent our rescue team to the scene of the incident.
“It was discovered that a boy of about 6-year-old fell inside a well.
“However, when our officials got to the scene, the victim was pulled out unconscious and confirmed dead.
“His corpse was handed over to the ward head of Yansango, Alhaji. Ashiru Musa,”
Following that , the officer confirmed that the body of the deceased has been handed over to the village ward.
