Jilted man stabs himself in Kano state
A 25 year old man known as Ashiru Musa Danrimi has allegedly killed himself with a knife after his fiancee jilted him to marry someone else. Upon finding out, the man stabs himself with a knife.
This incident happened in Kano state.
Reports have it that the late Ashiru was a member of the Neighbourhood watch in Kadawa ward, Ungogo LGA, Kano. Obviously heartbroken that his fiancee, Umi muhammed left him to marry another man, the deceased allegedly stabbed himself to death with a knife.
Neighbours who were aware of the issues in their relationship were shocked as they were not expecting Ashiru would go to the lengths of killing himself.
DSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, spokesperson of the Kano state police added that the police rushed the deceased to Murtala Hospital where he was confirmed dead.
Habu Sani, the Kano state Commissioner of Police has ordered a thorough investigation into the alleged suicide.
