APC is Raising Campaign Funds for Tinubu – Reno Omokri
Reno Omokri believes that many aspirants will step down for former Lagos state Governor Bola Tinubu.
According to him, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Rotimi Amaechi, Chris Ngige and Governor Yahaya Bello will be among the aspirants who will withdraw on the day of the APC presidential primary.
Reno Omokri’s tweet read, “Remember how one APC youth leader cried as he ‘voluntarily’ withdrew from the race during the last APC convention?
“That is how Osinbajo, Amaechi, Fayemi, Amosun, Nwajiuba, Ngige, Umahi, Bello and co will weepingly withdraw on the day of the APC presidential primaries.”
Omokri stated that the number of candidates expressing interest is a plot by the APC to raise campaign funds for Tinubu.
In another tweet, he wrote, “APC’s strategy is very simple. They needed ₦1 billion to help the Tinubu campaign and did not know how to get the money. So, Buhari encouraged 10 men, including Osinbajo, Amaechi, Ngige, Oshiomhole, and co to contest. And voila, problem solved! Campaign money raised!”
