A mobile number registered as ‘Presidency Nigeria’ has sent warnings and threats to a supporter of Presidential aspirant Peter Obi ahead of the 2023 election.
A tweep with the name Jamilu Sufi has cried out for help after he and his wife received several threats from an unknown number over their support for Peter Obi.
Sufi, who has openly expressed his support for the former Anambra State Governor, made this known in several tweets on Sunday.
Jamilu Sufi tweeted, “I don’t succumb to blackmail and threat, this guy +2349166835233 (WhatsApp). Called himself Kingsley, and he threatened to kill me if I continue to support @PeterObi, it get to a point that he called my wife and threatened to kill her too. I blocked him but he and other guys continued.”
He further revealed that the caller speaks Igbo and Hausa frequently.
Curious followers looked up the supposed number on the Truecaller app, and the name Presidency Nigeria popped out.
