The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), has released the cut-off mark for 2022 admission into Universities and Polytechnics in the country.
The cut-off mark was approved on Thursday after a meeting with JAMB officials, the Ministry of Education, the National Universities Commission, and the National Board for Technical Education.
The institution disclosed that the general cut-off mark for polytechnics is 120, while Universities at 140.
Professor Ishaq Oloyede, the JAMB registrar, earlier revealed at the 2022 policy meeting that only 378,639 of the 1,761,338 who wrote the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) scored 200 and above.
He further revealed that candidates awaiting O’Level results were allowed to register for the 2022 UTME but must present their results upon admission into institutions.
