Super Eagles star player Chidera Ejuke has joined the list of Nigerian players who played in the German Bundesliga as he joined Hertha Berlin. Hertha Berlin coach Fredi Bobic, says the acquisition of Chidera Ejuke will improve Hertha Berlin. On Wednesday Ejuke completed a loan move to Hertha Berlin from Russian giants CSKA Moscow.
The super Eagles star suspended his contract with CSKA Moscow for the 2022–23 season, having taken advantage of the FIFA ruling relating to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Fans who are asking why the player left the top side who is supposed to be playing the Champions League to join a side that is not playing the Champions League, he is doing that because of the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.

He said: “I’m looking forward to playing for Hertha, to the Bundesliga and this special challenge. I want to do my bit in helping the club achieve its goals.”
