Nigerian popular singer, Aituaje Iruobe, better known as Waje has taken to social media to share her excitement after joining one of the recently associations formed by Nigerians on social media platforms.
The sonorous singer snubbed the Stingy Women Association of Nigeria (SWAN) which have celebrities such as Toke Makinwa as a member.
Waje joined the Cheerful Givers Association of Nigeria then shared her identity card on her official Instagram page.
She was appointed as the minister of budget and national planning of the association which she sees as an upgrade from her earlier matron role.
She wrote, “With tears in my eyes and with gratitude. With my full chest of pride I pledge my loyalty to this office that I have been given.
“I was fine with my matron role but someone found me worthy and sent this. To the founding fathers of this movement I promise not to disappoint” she added.
The Cheerful Givers Association is one of the growing list of associations formed by Nigerians including its celebrities on social media platforms.
Waje joins other celebrities such as D’banj, Vector, JJC Skillz and Olalekan Olaleye in the cheerful givers group.
Stingy Men Association of Nigerian (SMAN) is however the first association created which has celebrities such as Don Jazzy, DJ Neptune, Tunde Ednut and so on while President Muhammadu Buhari was tagged as the ‘General Overseer’.
