An online poll was initiated to determine the most corrupt Presidential Candidate that would participate in the 2023 General Elections.
The candidates selected for the sampling include All Progressives Congress, APC flag bearers, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and Labour Party, LP Peter Obi.
The online polls demanded that voters should comment if they think Atiku is the most corrupt leader, Like if Obi is, or retweet for Tinubu.
Unsurprisingly, Asiwaju had the highest responses with his numbers running into thousands, while Atiku came second as the most corrupt, and Obi received the smallest votes.
However, the concept sparked up reactions from supporters of the three candidates. Those from Asiwaju’s camp insisted that the initiative is flawed and created room for people to easily send out the wrong message about their candidate.
They said the whole idea soiled the Jagaban’s image, pointing out that the concept was initiated solely to reduce his chances at the 2023 polls but added that online voters cannot determine the outcome of the forthcoming election.
