Uganda Election: Bobi Wine’s Home Under Attack

As Uganda Presidential election is yet to be concluded with counting and election result collation is underway, Bobi Wine, a major contender, has cried out.

In a tweet that can be named as a “safe our soul” SOS message, he raised the alarm informing that his home is under siege.

According to him, military personnel have taken over his home, causing many to fear for his life and that of his family members.

“We are under siege. The military has jumped over the fence and has now taken control of our home”

Bobi Wine Under Attack

Bobi Wine is a major candidate standing against the re-election bid of incumbent President Yoweri Museveni, who has served for five terms of 35years.

As at the time of filing this report, Museveni is taking early lead with over a million vote while Bobi has over six hundred thousand votes.

His has been under previous attacks and threats to life before the election with him his campaign rallies with bullet vests and helmets.
