Chelsea new boss Thomas Tuchel continued in his impressive form in Chelsea as he recorded a clean 1-0 winning against Jose Moutinho’s side Tottenham Hotspur. Following the outcome of the game, Jose Mourinho has come out in his usual way giving blames and reasons for his loss.
According to the former Chelsea and Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho who has now recorded a back-to-back loss at home, he said the officiating was very poor, blaming his loss to the referee. In their last Premier League home game which was against Liverpool, it ended 3-1 in favor of the defending champions, Liverpool.
A 23rd-minute first-half goal from the penalty spot which was well converted by Jorginho, saw Chelsea go in front of the game. The penalty was awarded after Eric Dier bright down Timo Werner in the penalty box. It is now two wins in three games for the new manager Thomas Tuchel.
Thomas Tuchel is the first Chelsea coach manager who has not conceded in his three games since 2004. The German has kept a clean sheet in his opening three Premier League games. The only coach to have done this is Jose Mourinho far back in 2004.
The result means Tottenham have suffered three successive Premier League defeats for the first time since November 2012 under André Villas-Boas. The win takes Chelsea up to 6th position above Tottenham, who lie in 8th.
