President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has shared a heartfelt message to his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, as she marked her 66th birthday on September 21, 2026.
In the message, the President reflected on their years together and praised Oluremi for the support, patience and courage she has shown throughout their journey.
Tinubu described his wife as his “truest friend and confidante,” saying she has remained someone he can turn to for honest advice, especially during difficult moments. He said Oluremi often understands what he needs even before he says it and has stayed calm and prayerful when things were uncertain.
The President also praised her role in their family, saying their children and grandchildren have grown with the values of faith, kindness and devotion that she represents.
Beyond her role as his wife, Tinubu highlighted Oluremi’s humanitarian work. He mentioned her involvement with the New Era Foundation and the Renewed Hope Initiative, which have supported young people, widows, elderly Nigerians and women farmers.
He also acknowledged her advocacy for people affected by tuberculosis and other health challenges, describing her as someone who consistently reaches out to people in need.
Looking back on their relationship, Tinubu said their journey had included difficult decisions, sacrifices, laughter and prayer. He added that if he had the opportunity to start his life again, he would still choose the same path that led him to Oluremi.
He ended his message by wishing her many more years of good health, happiness and joy, while thanking her for the life they have built together.
