Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has signed a new two-year contract with Chelsea just days after he helped Chelsea win their second Champions League trophy. The former Dortmund and Paris Saint-German manager has extended his Stamford Bridge stay until the summer of 2024.
It is a deserved one for the German international as he has been imposing since arriving at the club. He has put up a brilliant start to his reign. Thomas Tuchel took over from Frank Lampard this season and helped Chelsea to European glory as they beat Manchester City in the finals 1-0 in Porto.
According to Tuchel, he said: “I cannot imagine a better occasion for a contract renewal. I am grateful for the experience and very happy to stay part of the Chelsea family.” The manager also said: “There is far more to come, and we are looking forward to our next steps with ambition and much anticipation.”
