everyevery.ng super SundayMan-u-Vs-Liverpool
Sunday will be the first North West London derby and super Sunday clash in the English Premier League. It is going to be between league leaders Liverpool and Manchester United in the iconic Old Trafford. The Liverpool side made a flying start to the season as they have not lost any match this season. They look very ready to keep their 100% record in the 2019/2020 Premier League campaign intact when they face the Red Devils at the “Theatre of Dreams” on Sunday. The good news for Liverpool is that Mohamed Salah is likely to recover in time to play against Manchester United.
Jurgen Klopp’s troops look unstoppable at the moment and seeing that the Red Devils, who are without key midfielder Paul Pogba, they look to extend their win. Manchester United failed to perform when they traveled to Saint James’ Park last week, they lost to struggling Newcastle United by a goal to nil.
Liverpool is presently eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table and the reigning champions of Europe. They are in top form presently as they have occupied a position they haven’t occupied for 30 years now.
Liverpool can equal Manchester City’s run of 18 consecutive wins in the Premier League if they secure a win against Manchester United. Jurgen Klopp has not beaten the United team at Old Trafford since joining Liverpool so, he will be looking to book his first home win at Old Trafford.
In contrast, Manchester United has recorded an all-time low start in the Premier League season, but the teams is more concerned now about the future. Old Trafford has always been the place where the great games were played and Anfield was only a vibrant stadium. Things have really changed now and Anfield is the place with more atmospheric and vibrant fans.
The clash is one which many players looked out for, they have battered themselves on a few occasions and it was more of a do or die for United and a day of credibility for them to try and get a point. Manchester United will be without key players like Luke Shaw, Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial which is one reason they will have to put in all their best.
Man Utd. will not want to get beaten in front of their fans by a rival team and walk away. This is a ‘parking the bus’ kind of game, in which they cannot take a risk. If they get beaten and Liverpool wins the day it will terrible for them. The last Klopp won Manchester United gave room for the sack of Jose Mourinho, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will not want to take the risk.
Marcus Rashford has not been impressive in the league but proved something in their Euro qualifier and look ready to roll. Liverpool skipper Vigel Van Dijk “We are not nervous because of the winning streak and the history we could make.” “We are very relaxed and very ambitious as well.” “Let’s try at least for the first time and if we cannot win then let’s perform in the best possible way. If they beat us then, then congratulations.
We believe that there is a big value in betting on another body to win. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made a slow start to the season and we do not believe he will want to take the risking of losing to the other West London side in their first Premier League derby.
