The lockdown period has been used on social media by creating different challenges in which Super Eagles midfielder, John Ogu has joined.
We have seen #dirtychallenge, #bopdaddychallenge, #cameltoechallenge and so on. The new addition is the one created by a Nigerian pastor, author and social commentator named Dr. Kelvin Amata. He tagged it the #HolyGhostChallenge. All you have to do is make a video of yourself declaring Jesus Christ is Lord then challenge others to do so.
The creator has challenged many notable Nigerians among which is Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, ex-minister Femi-Fani-Kayode, Senator Dino Melaiye, Nathaniel Bassey, footballers Odion Ighalo, Joe Aribo and John Ogu.
John Ogu has since accepted the challenge. The Super Eagles midfielder who recently joined Al-Adalah FC in Saudi Arabia in 34 seconds pledged allegiance to Jesus Christ.
In a video posted on his Twitter account @ogujohnogu, he said ‘‘I just want to thank you, Jesus. Thank you for everything you have done for me….”
The lanky Nigerian football player has also played his part in giving out cash during this period. He joined the likes of Odion Ighalo and Moses Simon to support their compatriots.
