However, he expressed optimism that the Yoruba people are behind in his pursuit to put an end to criminalities in Yorubaland.

You will recall that a former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, had earlier visited Sunday Igboho in his Ibadan home.

During the visit, Fani Kayode said Nigerians should be allowed to carry sophisticated arms like AK-47 if Fulani herdsmen are permitted to secure themselves with the same type of weapon.

He also referred to how the Bauchi State Governor said Fulani herdsmen should be allowed to bear AK-47 to defend their cows and their lives.

According to the former Minister, Igboho’s position was that criminal herdsmen must stop their illegal activities.
