Amid reactions trailing the invasion of his Ibadan residence, Yoruba activist Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, has boasted that security operatives in Nigeria cannot arrest him; he also revealed his location.

In a video, Igboho, who boasted that he could not be intimidated, disclosed that if 1,000 policemen come to his house in Ibadan to arrest him, all of them might not return.

He challenged the Police to come and arrest him in his Soka residence. Igboho asked the operatives to make sure they visit his house with a net and wheelbarrow, adding that they should not come at night.

Meanwhile, Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka has reacted to the invasion of Igboho’s residence, noting that the government’s actions and rationale for invading his home stink.

Soyinka advised the federal government to stop pursuing Igboho as a criminal; he opined that the government would be very embarrassed if Igboho comes to trial.

The Laurette noted that criminal acts of enemies of Nigeria who appear to be supported by the force of the State caused Igboho’s fight for freedom.

You will recall that some operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS, had last week invaded the Soka residence of Igboho, where they killed two of his associates and arrested 13 others. The DSS disclosed that they recovered arms, ammunition and charms from his home.
