Six Super Eagles Players to Look out for in 2020/20 Season

As football games are resuming across Europe, all the Super Eagles players in their various clubs are currently doing well as none of them is nursing any injury. We will be looking at six Super Eagles players across Europe to keep an eye on, this will cover both the ones in the English Premier League, French Ligue One, and Spanish La Liga.

Victor Osimhen (Napoli, Italy)

Former Lille and present Napoli Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is one of the biggest attackers in Europe presently, at his age to have scored and made the kind of impact he has made so far in football. His impact is one which has made the world of football turn to his side. The player joined Italian side Napoli in the current transfer window and he has already announced his coming as he banged hat-trick in his first game for Napoli. Victor Osimhen is surely one attacker Nigerians will be keeping an eye on.

Samuel Chukwueze (Villareal, Spain)

Nigerian 21-year-old Villareal winger Samuel Chukwueze is another player football lovers will be waiting to watch, the young winger has already started scoring as he scored in their 2-1 lose to follow Spanish La Liga side Valencia 2-1. The player who has been doing well since moving from the youth team of Villareal to the senior team helped his team last season to survival relegation although they did not make it to the Europa or Uefa Champions League but with his current form he will help his team climb the Europe League spot at least this season hopefully.

Wilfred Ndidi (Leicester City, England)

Another player to look out for is Leicester City engine room Wilfred Ndidi, the player has been very impactful for the English Premier League side. Wilfred Ndidi scored one goal last season with a couple of o assist but he was excellent in his primary role which is in the defence line, he won the most tackles won last season in the English Premier League. Wilfred Nididi was able to help his team secure a place in the Europa League as they finished Fifth in the English Premier League table last season.

Kelechi Iheanacho (Leicester City, England)

Also in the English Premier League is Kelechi Iheanacho, the former Manchester City man stood in for Jamie Vardy last season and he was able to fit in the shoes of the attacker very well. This season we are hopeful Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers will give the Super Eagles striker more playing time.

Alex Iwobi (Everton, England)

Former Arsenal star player Alex Iwobi is another Super Eagles star all eyes will be on this season. The player who joined Everton from Arsenal has been doing well since his arrival and we are sure he will he will do even more this season. Everton Manager Carlo Ancelloti has shown interest and believer in the player and we are sure he will not disappoint.

Josh Maja (Girondins Bordeaux, France)

The last but not the least on our list Josh Maja of Girondins Bordeaux who has already recorded a goal in the new season, he scored in their 2-0 win against Angers SCO in their Ligue 1 clash. Maja opened the scoring for Les Girondins in the 25th minute after he was set up by former Arsenal player Laurent Koscienly.
