The popular Senegalese-American singer Akon has opened up on the breakup between famous Nigerian singers Peter and Paul Okoye, popularly known as P-square.
Recall that the duo recently got back together after a long beef with themselves. Following this, Akon, in an interview, noted that P-Square is family, and he feels their separation came from pressure from their career and relationship.
Akon described them as family and disclosed that the separation might be due to pressure in their careers and relationships.
Akon said, “It broke my heart because we are family. These are brothers, and they shared the same womb, and I always felt the money should not get in between them.
“It was being together that made them who they were. But sometimes you have differences [between people from the same] family, and there are other aspects of it – there is pressure in the music business, there is a lot of pressure in relationships.”
