Shocking! Minister of Power Slumps After Sack Alert

Share

Yesterday, Minister of Power, Mr Saleh Mamman, slumped immediately after President Muhammadu Buhari announced his dismissal.

Mamman was reportedly rushed to the hospital to prevent any further complications from his sudden collapse.

According to a source from his family that preferred speaking under a protected identity, the Minister’s sack, which also came as a surprise, triggered the whole incident.

In the recent past, Mamman emerged as the superintending Minister of the Power Sector following the isolation of the Ministry from Works and Housing initially manned by the present Minister, Mr Babatunde Raji Fashola.

He was fired alongside the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Sabo Nanono, following the President’s long-awaited objective to overhaul his cabinet.

While revealing the reason for the sudden collapse, the family source of this information could not ascertain the nature of Mamman’s ailment.

Meanwhile, further probe to clarify the matter proved abortive as his spokesman ultimately declined to divulge any detail.

The source said Mr Mamman, 63, had been quietly receiving treatment at a hospital in Abuja, and the gazette has withheld the hospital’s name to respect the former Minister’s privacy.
