Seun Kuti: Believers With Bank Account Will not Make Heaven

Share

Afrobeat musician Oluwaseun Anikulapo Kuti popularly shortened to Seun Kuti has revealed that believers in Jesus and Mohammed that save in bank accounts will not make heaven.

Seun, the youngest son of the late ‘Abami Eda’ Fela Anikulapo Kuti shared this revelation in a recent Instagram live session with his fans.

Seun Kuti Says Stop Planning for Tomorrow

Seun Kuti who is a non-believer in any religion stated that bank account owners are doing so against the rule of the holy books.

He noted that the bible revealed that “Jesus is coming now”, and if this is true, you should not make plans for tomorrow.

Seun Kuti in his own words said, “The number one criteria of entering heaven is that you must believe that Jesus Christ and Mohammed are coming back now. Not tomorrow, not next tomorrow, not next year, not ten years, but now!”

“You must believe, if you don’t have that belief then you cannot say you are a Christian or a Muslim. That is a core belief in the tenet of this religion. So, if you believe that Jesus Christ is coming back now, how can you be saving for tomorrow?

“That means, if you believe Jesus Christ is coming tomorrow, you still don’t believe because you are planning for tomorrow. Your bank account is evidence of that. Once you have a bank account it means you don’t believe that Jesus Christ is coming now.

“Somewhere in your heart there is doubt, you are like me, and we are going to the same place. Don’t come and preach to me, live by the day. Abrahamic religions are religions of now. You cannot be planning for tomorrow when you claim to believe that Jesus Christ is coming now.”
