Scary News for Parents in Ondo, Ogun, Oyo

Parents in Ondo, Ogun, and Oyo states are currently battling with a piece of scary news that has sneaked into the public space about a secret plan to kidnap students in the states.

According to a letter written by a Southwestern group, Apapo Oodua Koya to the governors of the concerned states, some terrorists are planning to wreak havoc in their domains.

The groups stated in their letter that the terrorists are planning to abduct primary and secondary school students and they are already building fortresses in the forests of those states.

Apapo Oodua Koya added that its internal intelligence has revealed areas where the bandits are currently taking refuge in the states.

“We got the information through credible intelligence. We have the capacity to tap some of the communication of the insurgents usually rendered in Fulfulde. They are planning to kidnap school children in large numbers in any or all of the states mentioned above.

“They are currently located at Yewa in Ogun State, they are in Oke-Ogun in Oyo and Idanre-Ondo town axis in Ondo State” Apapo O’odua Koya, (AOKOYA) said in the letter sent to the state governors.“

It is no more news that the massive kidnapping of students from their schools has become a trend in Nigeria.

The kidnappings have been recorded in Niger, Borno, and Zamafara states. In all of these kidnappings, some of the victims have not regained freedoms even years after their unfortunate kidnap.
