A storm appears to be brewing in the household of Nollywood star Regina Daniels, as her family in Ogwashi Uku, Delta State, has issued a 48-hour ultimatum to her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, to accept the return of her bride price or face a public and traditional dissolution of the marriage.
In a bold open letter signed by one Favour Awele Obi on behalf of the community, the family accused the influential senator of “disregarding local customs” and allegedly wielding his political power to intimidate members of Regina’s family.
