Pope Francis, christened Jorge Mario Bergoglio, yesterday, shared a video broadcast where he suggested a possible way Christian sisters could avoid unfair treatment from so-called men of the church.

The Catholic Pope made the statement on his social media page in a video message his media team shared on February 1, to show how concerned the church is regarding the level of scandals reportedly tarnishing the image of the church, especially in the past.

Pope Francis also advised women to look out for their fellow religious sisters so as to help them gain the courage to keep doing the work of the Lord.

He advised that they shouldn’t be discouraged but always attempt to help those in need of their services regardless of the challenges encountered.

On his Twitter postHe thanked the religious sisters all around the world for the wonderful things they are doing to progress Christianity through their mission and the courage they find in preaching the gospel.

“I encourage all consecrated women to discern and choose what is best for their mission in the face of the world’s challenges that we are experiencing.” He said.
