Atletico Madrid will host Manchester United in the first leg of the Uefa Champions League round of 16, United player Paul Pogba has already shown his excitement as he placed a video call to Griezmann ahead of the clash. Both players were seen laughing as the United player posted the screenshot of two of them on Instagram.
Paul Pogba missed 14 games with a hamstring injury but made his highly anticipated return to the first-team at the start of this month against Middlesbrough. The Frenchman played 82 minutes in the FA Cup fixture, which saw United be defeated on penalties. Pogba also scored on his return to Premier League action, netting in the 1-1 draw with relegation strugglers Burnley.
Even though Pogba is yet to extend his contract with United, interim boss Ralf Rangnick has to insist he will be using the player till he leaves the club. Manchester United will be looking to ensure the World Cup winner extend his contract with them regardless of the fact that many clubs have been keeping a close eye on the player.
Should their efforts prove abortive Pogba could walk out of Old Trafford for FREE for the second time this summer. The midfielder is out of contract and is attracting interest from a host of top clubs already.
