Ooni Of Ife Visits Dangote Refinery, Advice Political Leaders

The Ooni of Ife, Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja 11 has paid an officially courtesy visit to the Dangote Refinery and Petrochemicals in Lagos. The Monarch noted that he was accorded the comprehensive assessment of the project’s magnitude.

Ooni said he was full of admiration during the visit, noting that the integrated refinery and petrochemical project, which is ranked as the largest in Africa and one of the largest in the world, can bring Africa to the frontiers of economic possibilities.

The Monarch further stated that the Dangote refinery has the unique key to increasing domestic fuel demand, creating exponential employment for Nigerian youths, and generating foreign exchange through exports.

He said Nigerians need to commend the superlatives dedication of Alhaji Aliko Dangote to the mission, which he described as a potent symbol of industrial progress and rejuvenation.

The Ooni described Dangote as a modern mirror of inspiration to brilliant and young Nigerians who are resiliently and unashamedly establishing cutting-edge products while making immense contributions to our economic development.

He noted that Nigeria needs to applaud and celebrate the significant contributions of her best young populations. According to him, Nigerian youths are full of ambitions, hopes and dreams.

The Monarch said political leaders in Nigeria must raise the bar of patriotism and alignment with the young populations by creating more friendly, robust policies that will unquestionably enable competitive economic growth and wealth creation.

He added that Nigerian youths are more sophisticated with a robust culture of patriotism that has beclouded the political system for decades.

The Monarch stated that the contributions from Nigerian youths are intrinsic and very central to Nigeria’s future.
