The African Film Festival “TAFF”, will not be either postponed nor cancelled because of the Coronavirus pandemic, as the organisers say there is no going back on holding the event this year 2020.
According to the Director and Founder of the event, Kelechi Eke, the 2020 edition of the African Film Festival would be held online.
The annual event which would hold in Dallas, the United States of America would have its 2020 edition featuring film screenings, online workshops and training sessions while the usual awards giving ceremony will not be left behind.
He stressed that the event would begin on June 2 and end on June 6, the five days events will entertain its online audience with showcasing of African independent films, with special references toe issues affecting Africans.
Eke is optimistic that this year’s edition of African Film Festival will go well as attendees would be able to watch in the comfort of their homes on demand.
