Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC says it is running out of bed spaceto accomodate Coronavirus victims in Lagos state.
Currently, Lagos State has the highest number of coronavirus cases in Nigeria with 947 confirmed cases and only 187 discharged from the state so far.
The director general of NCDC while briefing the presidential taskforce on coronavirus confirmed that the NCDC is having bed space issues. He however reassured Nigerians that they are putting measures in place and amending strategies to ensure that this does not hinder the fight against coronavirus.
“Lagos is the only place where we are struggling with bed spaces for now. We will always tells Nigerians the truth. We are struggling with bed spaces in Lagos for now,”
