Napoli President Test Positive to Covid-19
It is sad new in Italy as Napoli president and owner Aurelio de Laurentiis has tested positive for coronavirus. The Italian club said in their social media about the case reporting that the 71-year-old returned a positive result on Wednesday after testing, and they did not give any other further details.
De Laurentiis was at a Serie A assembly in Milan on Wednesday, alongside officials from other top-flight sides, the message was necessary so all the people he made contact with can go for check. The president has not shown any further symthom and he is currently placed in self-isolation.
Napoli, who finished seventh in Serie A and won the Coppa Italia last season against Italian Serie A league winner Juventus will be due to start their 2020-21 Italian Serie A campaign at Parma on the 20th of September.
