Mr Macaroni, the popular Nigerian online skit maker and comedian, has spoken to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on what Nigerians expect from them during the 2023 Presidential Election.
He said, “We recognise your service and sacrifice so far @inecnigeria. We know it is not easy. Despite several condemnable attacks on your staff and offices, you have continued to serve. Please do not relent. Nigerians are counting on you. God bless you.”
The comedian further noted that this particular Election means a lot to the people of Nigeria, adding that citizens want to exercise their rights to choose the leaders who would like to serve the people.
“We are counting on your transparency and accountability to make it work. Please do not let us down.” He added.
Meanwhile, Nigerians started reacting to his tweet, lending their voices to the topic of discussion and pointing out to INEC how important the General Elections are and what it would mean for the country’s future.
