A report by Al Jazeera has revealed that there are about twelve countries around the world who are yet to report cases of Coronavirus, COVID-19 outbreak.
The virus which started from Wuhan in China has been declared as a pandemic by the World Health Organisation and there is no vaccine yet to cure the deadly virus.
According to data made available by Johns Hopkins University, over five million people have contracted the novel coronavirus in 188 countries and territories.
Also, no fewer than 341,000 people have died from the complications arising from the virus globally while about 1.9 million patients treated and discharged.
The 12 coronavirus-free countries:

2.Kiribati
3.Marshall Islands
4.Micronesia
5.Nauru
6.Palau
7.Samoa
8.Solomon Islands
9.Tonga
10.Turkmenistan
11.Tuvalu
12.Vanuatu
Also, in Nigeria, Cross Rivers and Kogi state are the two states with no record of Coronavirus cases in their respective states.
The Cross River State Governor, Professor Ben Ayade has opined that the State has not recorded an index case of Coronavirus because of proactiveness and precautionary measures.
In the meantime, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has announced that the country has recorded 313 new Coronavirus cases as of Sunday, May 24th, 2020.
Out of the new cases, Lagos recorded 148, FCT had 36, Rivers State had 27, while Edo had 19.
Thirteen cases were recorded in Kano, 12 in Ogun, 11 in Ebonyi, 8 cases in Nasarawa, 8 in Delta, 7 in Oyo while Plateau recorded 6.
Others are Kaduna with five cases, Kwara had 4, Akwa Ibom had 3, Bayelsa had 3, Niger had 2 while Anambra recorded one case.
However, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye had on Sunday revealed that all children of God throughout the world will be protected from the virus.
