Protesters at Lekki Toll Gate
A Nigerian man identified as Michael Akanji has shared a poster of Nigerian celebrities that incited carnage with the Lekki shooting.
It was a black Tuesday on the 20th of October 2020 as peaceful protesters at Lekki tollgate were shot by security operatives.
The happenings at the scene were caught on camera by DJ Switch for the world to see. This has got Nigerians including celebrities to get the attention of the world to see what is happening via social media.
A Twitter user @mickiebrownkie shared photos and names of Nigerian celebrities that caused havoc by spreading fake news according to him. He listed the strong personalities in the #ENDSARS campaign of inciting carnage in Lagos State.
His poster shows the likes of Falz, Yemi Alade, Wizkid, Davido, Burnaboy, Rinu, Mr Macaroni, Runtown, Kanu Nwankwo, Laycon. Other notable names include Tacha, Don Jazzy, Mr P, Aisha Yesufu were also included in the list of Nigerian celebrities in Lekki shooting brouhaha.
The poster then tagged public figures and international bodies to the post.
Many were injured with lives lost in the Lekki shooting which is still under investigation by the Lagos State government.
